Walks

Smithfield: From Medieval Fields to Modern London
Smithfield is one of London’s most surprising areas: quiet and a little mysterious, not touristy at all, yet beneath the surface lies nearly a thousand years of dramatic history. If only the walls could talk… but since they don’t, I will.
On this tour, we’ll explore the area’s fascinating past from the 12th to the 21st century, including: London’s oldest church and oldest hospital, the ancient meat market, the sites of medieval monasteries, and stories of heroism, executions, resistance, crusaders, knights, and secrets that even most locals have never heard or seen.
This walk is full of surprises, hidden corners, and stories that will make you see Smithfield in a completely new way — let’s explore it together.

King's Cross: London’s 21st Century Cinderella
Once upon a time, King’s Cross was one of London’s roughest corners — dark, dangerous, dirty, and derelict.
On this walk, we’ll explore King’s Cross’s remarkable transformation from grime to grace.
This neighbourhood has been completely reborn, undergoing a dramatic metamorphosis from post‑industrial decay into one of London’s cleanest, brightest, and most dazzling areas — with shimmering architecture, tech giants, children playing in the fountains, canal‑side pubs, restaurants, and festivals, and the magical Coal Drops Yard at its heart — such an amazing mix!
On this tour, we’ll talk about how the neighbourhood evolved from a polluted industrial zone with dark streets into one of London’s most exciting districts.
Join me for an experience where we’ll uncover hidden stories and corners unfamiliar to most tourists — and even to many locals.

Camden Beyond the Market: Music, Murals & Hidden Histories
There’s so much more to Camden than the tourist market, and this tour is really a journey into the heart of British music history. On this guided walk, we’ll explore Camden’s legendary music heritage, tracing some of the iconic pubs and venues that shaped British rock, punk, and Britpop, and helped make Camden a major hub for live music.
If you’re a fan of bands and artists like Oasis, Coldplay, Blur, Madness, The Pogues, David Bowie, Amy Winehouse, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Clash, The Sex Pistols, or Blondie — this walk is a must.
We’ll weave through vibrant streets and hidden alleys alive with graffiti and street art, each corner echoing its own story of creativity and defiance. Some of the world’s most famous street artists have left their mark here with striking murals.
And just as importantly, we’ll uncover Camden’s industrial past — exploring how the canal, railways, factories, and warehouses shaped the neighbourhood’s distinctive character and helped fuel the energy that still defines it today.
Join me on this walk, where I’ll share stories and show you corners unfamiliar to most tourists.
